Hello friends,

Are you living a truly happy and fulfilled life? Each day do you wake up in the morning looking at yourself in the mirror and do you smile with real happiness? Some days yes and some days no. How do we get this fulfillment and happiness? How do we create these amazing versions of ourselves that each and everyone of us is so deserving of? Well we have to start making today, yesterday, tomorrow and next week count thats how!

If you are a Mamma or have any form of children in your life, look to these amazing little creatures of ours for motivation and inspiration. Watch how full of life and how much happiness is magically transcended through them. Our children should give us more drive than anything. Children seep inspiration and joy, they carelessly play and smile, they truly feel every emotion, every feeling so intently. How they smile, run and play, play and play. We need to show our children that when we work hard at life we can be who we want to be and we can do the things that we want to do. Can is the operative word here, not have to.

I know in my past I have used my children as an excuse, hindering me from reaching my life goals. Today these children are not an excuse they are not hindering us, today our children are our reason they are giving us the will and power to do better. We need to show these amazing little people how they can truly be whoever they want to be when they grow up.

Now comes one of my favorite friends again, journaling, one of my favorite mind freeing hobbies. Grab your pen and lovely journal or if you are more of a computer person you can make an online journal or email yourself. Write yourself a letter one year from today, write your letter to yourself with you accomplishing every goal and dream you have been affirming and envisioning yourself doing. This time make it count! Start out with “I am so happy and grateful now that…” and let you mind go free. Even if you have the highest goals, goals that you may think today are unattainable. You can overcome what ever excuse you have made for yourself. We rarely realize that we are our own worst enemies we hinder ourselves from so much, stop doing this to yourself. This is up to you and you only if you are open to it.

Put your, oh so attainable goals on your paper or email and give them meaning and feel them when you are writing them. When you are done writing you inspiring life letter, read it aloud and see how it makes you feel.

I did this three months ago and it is empowering, it has motivated me to do things that I thought I could not do and you can do this too. Once you have this down on paper you have now have it intellectually, your mind will be programed to get towards these goals. Next write an accomplishments list, each and every accomplishment that you have made in your life write them down. Most of us focus on all of our bad doings or negative past experiences, let’s make this stop today. If you catch yourself reflecting to bad past experience, stop yourself. Change your train of thought over to your good doings, your amazing accomplishments. Now what steps do you need to take on a daily basis to accomplish these goals and keep filling in that list of accomplishments? Slowly every day or every week make it a priority to take a steps.

Keep your life letter and your amazing accomplishment list at your nightstand, your work space, your bathroom, somewhere near and use it as a constant reminder as an inspiration to yourself. Look at your children, your friends children your family and see the beauty these amazing creatures bring to our everyday lives. I challenge you to better yourself to find a happier you and make a happier life for your family. Having love and being loved are two of the most powerful energies we are so lucky to experience in our lives. We all need to put love at the top of our things to do list. Wake up check! Smile to myself in the mirror check! Love a little more today check! Love is incredible, it can be perceived in our everyday lives through our feelings and our emotions, what are the main differences between feelings of love and emotional love?

The word emotion is rooted from the word “motion” it is translated into energy.  Emotion as energy with in us creates motion, found with in us and helps to motivates us. Psychology defines emotions as physiological state. Studies have shown that changes in our physiological world are referred to as emotions. These also affect the function of our awareness, and motivation.

When love is thrown in the mix it falls into the category of emotion only when our bodies make a physical change such as increase in blood pressure or movement. Emotional love in the findings of kinetic love, is directly found within our bodies. We refer to this as being our emotional love, when it is deeply sensed or intensified. In layman’s terms if you see someone you love and you feel your heart beating out of your chest and you have an uncontrollable urge to run up to them and embrace, hug or kiss them to pieces this is our emotional side of love.

Where as love found in our feelings is something that is to be programmed into us. Our feelings are defined as our true nature our authentic identity, this is something that makes us who we are. Something created by our surroundings of social or cultural influences. Our subconscious believes of the world and our moral views come from our authentic self. These are in charge of forming our major feelings of our instincts, our inner radar and our intuition. Our feelings allow us to be the real us the constant us who wants to  be bettering ourselves everyday for the rest of our lives. Most of us are programmed to love certain people or things in our lives. This programming is something we may think we are not in charge of, or we have distant thoughts of how we were raised it is the only way of thinking. This must change now. We are in charge of our emotions we are in charge of our feelings, we can choose to reprogram our thoughts of what love is or how we want to be loved.

Our feelings allow us to express our inner voice without having to vocalize them. Love is found on both spectrums of feelings and emotions so embrace both of them, it can change on a day-to-day basis. We are in charge of the love we surround our lives with, love should not have to be conditional. This is where we step in as the best version of our self and ask ourselves. Is this love helping or hindering our life? The answer is up to us and how we choose show up to the world, how we wish to love and be loved through both our feelings and our emotions.

Love makes us feel better, it bringing a smile to our face’s, real love warms our heart, it changes our day. Love is butterflies in your tummy, heart thumping out of our chest, contagiously smiling for everyone to see. We can feel it through every cell in our being. Love is the most powerful, most rewarding, most blessed emotional feeling. The best part friends there is no price to love. Love should be something which is not forced upon or love should not hinder our everyday life.

If a baby were born and had no love, no physical contact the sweet innocent life would not survive. This is crazy to think of, but it is true. Open your eyes to how important love is, that a life could not be sustained from birth without this amazing emotional, feeling.

We all get so busy in our everyday lives, the thought of taking the extra time to kiss or hug our person, our children the extra seconds, seem to slip away. Something as simple as a kiss on the cheek a quick three second hug on your way out the door before you begin your busy day. Even at work a handshake with eye contact and even a hug to your most favorite people. Yes, it is ok to hug people at work it makes being away from your family feel comforting.When you come in contact with someone who you feel connected to don’t be afraid to vocalize, hug them mean it. Living in the now pertains to every aspect of our daily lives. We as humans need this connection on a daily basis.

Let us all be the open type of people to express our thoughts, if you see somebody and think they look extra special, their smile is brighter, something different you can’t quite put your finger on. Voice it connect with people, this small connection will make you feel good and will rejuvenate the person on the opposite end. Even if you have feedback to someone constructive criticism, each and every one of us are flawed. We can help each other out. Telling somebody how you truly feel is a huge symbol of love.

If it is coming from your heart or hearts, never be afraid to share with the people you love. If it is coming from a good place and most often even the most of criticism can help build us all in to stronger and better versions of ourselves. Sometimes it is hard hearing or even saying these things, but take a step back. Open your mind to positivity open your mind to change. Every single one of us is capable of change and sometimes it is scary even ugly and then it turns into something amazing and beautiful. Remember change in inside of each and every one of us, we just have to keep momentum and be willing.

Love is an amazing feeling, it is my favorite emotional mind and body feeling.  Make it one of yours, put LOVE on your list and check it everyday! Let us all take an active part in loving more in being loved more today. Make this a priority an everyday occurrence. Once we incorporate anything into our daily rituals like brushing our teeth or getting dressed they become a part of who we are. We all should want affection, we all should crave affection and attention.

So let us all hug each other more, really embrace more. Kiss people on the cheeks if you feel it. When you ask someone how they are doing, look in their eyes connect with them. Show them you want to know how they are doing and start really caring when people are sharing with you. Smile at people if you usually don’t do this start today. Studies have proven that smiling increases happiness, and it contagious. Our brains are trained to mimic what we see, so let us create a happier smiling more LOVING world. Hello Friends,

We all need to take baby steps into to bettering ourselves, to bettering these amazing lives of ours. Try something new, something you have always wanted to do but maybe you were too afraid of, you were afraid of failure, or judgment from yourself, or even scarier judgment from others. Trying new things at first feels uncomfortable, but day after day you can create a rhythm in your life and make this something new, this soon to be amazing change a part of the new you. We all can make our dreams come true, take your goals that you wrote down that you have been affirming to yourself every day, right? You didn’t forget, did you?  Say them proudly, say them strongly, say them with every feeling in your body. Dont forget you must read these to yourself everyday, don’t lose sight even for one moment.

There will be days where you experience extreme discomfort from these baby steps. They will feel like new shoes, foreign and maybe awkward at first. And then after a week, they might not seem so foreign and the awkwardness turns into comfort. After a month they will grow on you, they will become a part of you. A part of your everyday life you will look at them smiling and itching to put them on.

Along with this sense of discomfort, will in turn bring a sense of empowerment, a sense of determination, a sense of motivation. Life does not always need to feel so safe and comfortable, it is so healthy for us to experience new things, it is so health to keep new ideas flowing constantly, lighting up in our brilliant minds.

Dont let others tell you what you are capable of, keep dreaming big dreams, keep making bigger goals. I wish I could tell you our goals and dreams would magically happen overnight. Life is a steady progression, if you keep doing something you will inevitably get better and better at it. Think back to you childhood, in kindergarten. Did you know how to read and write, could you even spell your name? Yes, you might have been the genius child who could, but most of us would answer no. We went from grade to grade, slowly stepping into reading, writing, studying, we slowly did this over a progression of twelve years, some of us even went further in bettering our understanding and continued on with two to upwards of six and eight more years of education. Creating mass knowledge in certain areas, Doctors, lawyers, Professors.

Most of us do not fall into these categories of Doctors, Lawyers and professors. Us average people, hey who even made up this classification? What does it mean to be average? Well I certainly am not average and neither are you. Take away any labels any classifications. I am here to tell you that I am not average I am extraordinary and so are you, just because we don’t hold a plaque or a certificate telling us who we are,or how we have spent the last ten years of our lives. We can reinvent ourselves, we can be the best version of whoever we want to be. So who do you want to be? You can be that person, it all starts with one step. Make that step or better yet take the plunge into a better you. You can do it, and dont forget to smile during these plunging, steps! Until next time my friends!

My Amazing hike continued on…

This time my daughter, Violet was calm and she asked if she could get out of the trailer. I think my children finally came too, and realized the work their Mommy was doing. They were deep into nature at this point, and had calmed way down. It is incredible what nature and movement can do for our minds and bodies, and better yet our children’s brilliant mind’s and tiny bodies, especially in moments of extreme tantrums. Fresh air and breath, ahhhh… it feel’s so good being outside. Violet tried to help me push the trailer up the strait, steep incline, I couldn’t do it with her at my side. I told her “ You can do it Violet, I know you can!” I was encouraging her, while my footing became too fast and I  left her fifty feet behind. Gravity would not allow me to go any slower. Glancing back to make sure she was safe, she was sad at first. I trudged ahead to the top, looking down on her, I cheered her on,” You can do it Violet, you are so awesome!” Just as my, athletic, golden tanned, motivator had done to me. She stomped with her rainbow-colored high top hiking boots and her sweaty, coppery, wiggly hair. Her skin was pinkish and she was now smiling at me and ran straight for my legs for a giant  hug. We both took huge, gulps of slightly warm water from the camel pack, which Violet insisted in packing on her back.

We proceed to the top of the beautiful trail overlooking what we had just hiked with our up with our amazing feet and trailer. It  looked down a giant field of grass and wild flowers surrounded by breath-taking mountains, chirping birds, prairie dogs and even a herd of deer grazing off the mountain side, talk about real life beauty. We were surrounded by it.

James had finally calmed himself down. We had moved closer to a huge decline. Violet was getting hot, she returned her hard worked rainbow-colored feet, back into the trailer. The next obstacle staring me down, a giant downward sloping decline. Scanning for my husband, he was still no where in sight. Off running the trail at least a mile, maybe even more ahead of us.  I came to this decline with a sense of relief, my mind thought it was going to be a piece of cake. Oh boy, was my mind off, my body took on the extreme steepness. I was once again getting my butt kicked by this trail.

I thought I could jog right on down, it didn’t dawn on me the mass amount of weight was going to naturally be pulled down by gravity. Four steps into my jog, my brain corrected me. I looked down at the downward slant of the mountain and thought to myself, If I were to lose my footing and grip, my children would be let free. Sailing down the trail, and as much fun as they would have thought that was, I didn’t really feel like spending the afternoon in the emergency room. So I used my super strength, Woman, Mommy, motivation, power to keep ahold of all my children in the stroller. The hill was pulling much more that I would have liked it too, I just kept planting my heels. Every other step, my hiking shoes would catch some gravel, slowly slipping on the tiny pebbles at a downward motion. Nothing I could not re-adjust and use my leg strength in full effect.

We finally safely made it down the hill to another slowly increasing incline, and within a rock’s throw was a house that must have been an old house that was now a visitors center with wooden benches, shade, birds and buzzing bees everywhere. I unloaded the children let them cool off and climb around the benches. Ten minutes after we arrived we saw my husband come around the bend, sweaty and out of breath he went up another mile past us and had looped back down and around to find us.

We rehydrated and rested another ten minutes, just enjoying the peace and quiet and taking in nature, it was so calming. I needed that after the scuffle with the biggies. It was so quiet you could hear the birds wings flapping under the roof, which we found a mud nest built high in one of the corners of the roof pitches with, one tiny baby bird waiting on its Mommy. How perfect was that? Nature oh you are my friend.

Rested up and ready to head back on the trail, with Rudy on my side he took the reigns of the stroller. Although I would say the way back was nothing compared to what I had gone through on the way up, I still praise and appreciate his help! He took on a couple of those strong incline and declines, but of course Violet was now ready to move her little body and get out of that sweaty, boy filled stroller. I was happy to see her out and wanting to move her little body. I want to encourage them to hike and be active but, I am not going to force it on them. I want it to be a natural progression nothing they hate or dread in the future. I want to encourage them to love moving their bodies and love nature by watching their Mommy and Daddy doing it!

I needed the intense upward motion, I think it was the universe making me physically tackle what I had just mentally accomplished, and what had engulfed the previous months of my life.

When life gets hard and change confronts you, some days it will be so hard.You might find yourself flustered and confused on what to do next? You might want to give up, because it is what is easy and change feels so uncomfortable. Don’t allow yourself that option, keep pushing forward! If you keep up your momentum at a steady pace you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. And believe you me it would have been so easy to turn back to the car and buckle the children in their car seats, blasting the AC, listen to music and wait for Rudy to make it back down.

I didn’t give up I pushed right on through! I stuck it out and it extremely enhanced my mood, I felt a giant happiness boost for the rest of the day. Making time to get out of the house, out of the office, out of the city and into nature. It sets your mind and boy free! Accept change into your life and heart and it will set you free!
